To our Valued Customers,

We want to update you on our efforts to help keep your operations up and running in the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) related disruptions.

As DCC Automation supplies critical components and support to the Food, Dairy and Beverage industries, we are considered an Essential Service and our production facilities continue to operate. Like all businesses, we are taking proactive steps to minimize risks while remaining open and meeting all of our commitments.

 

DCC Automation is closely monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We are taking a number of proactive measures for the health and safety of our customers and employees.  We want to assure you that we have developed and initiated action plans to deal with this unprecedented and evolving situation. We are prepared to weather this storm together and will maintain the flexibility to adapt to future developments.

 

For Safety, DCC Automation is taking CDC recommended steps to prevent illness:

 

  • Travel guidelines are in effect for all team members to reduce exposure
  • Washing facilities have been expanded along with placement of sanitizing stations
  • Cleaning and disinfecting intervals have been stepped up
  • Social distancing is being practiced within the workplace
  • Team members are staying home when they are sick or suspect they have been exposed
  • Online meetings are being used to as an alternative to visits from non-DCC personnel

 

To maintain work flow between DCC Automation, our suppliers, and our customers:

 

  • Our Purchasing Team is communicating daily with our suppliers to ensure availability of parts and keep on top of any potential impacts
  • We are proactively monitoring stocking levels at all facilities
  • Phone lines are open for rapid response and expedited service
  • Currently we are shipping parts promptly from all our DCC Automation locations

 

Our DCC Automation service and support teams are ready to assist customers from all of our locations:

 

  • We can provide travel history and itineraries of service technicians
  • Service technicians are following CDC illness-prevention recommendations
  • Remote on-line communication is being used where available
  • We will continue to provide support. If new restrictions require us to adjust our service plans in the future, we’ll share those new plans immediately

 

The health and safety of our employees is paramount and we have internally taken the steps necessary to ensure a safe work environment so that we may continue to take care of you, our customers.
